Walkthrough of unlocking every tier on the seasonal mastery track — Portable Extractors, Back Bling styles, and how extraction gates each crown.
Fortnite Sprite Mastery is the seasonal completion layer on top of normal collection. Every Sprite has five in-match levels (Level 1 through Level 5). Only the equipped Sprite on your back earns XP — copies in inventory stay frozen until swapped into the primary slot.
A Sprite becomes Mastered only when you extract it at Level 5 (or win Victory Royale while holding it at Level 5). The crown icon in your lobby gallery marks mastered entries permanently for the season. Reaching Level 5 without extracting does not grant mastery — extraction is the final step.
Fortnite Sprite Mastery advances a seasonal reward track with Portable Extractors, Sprite Dust, XP, and Back Bling cosmetics. Battle Pass owners can also display mastered Sprites as styles on the Sprite Pod Back Bling. Track crowns on the home checklist and read the extraction guide for safe banking.
A Level 5 extracted Sprite counts as Mastered. You unlock seasonal mastery rewards and keep the crown status even if the Sprite resets to Level 1 after a death.
Mastered status in your collection stays. If you die while that Sprite is equipped, it resets to Level 1 and costs Sprite Dust to re-summon — but the crown remains.
Fortnite Sprite XP comes from match activity while your target Sprite is equipped in the primary slot. Open chests, ammo boxes, barrels, and food containers for +75 XP each — interact directly with the container; breaking furniture underneath without opening skips the XP grant.
Combat grants more per minute: +200 XP for eliminations, +100 XP for downs without a full elimination. Extracting other Sprites pays +100 XP for a new type and +200 XP for a duplicate — deposit inventory Sprites at an Extraction Site before your equipped target to stack bonus XP efficiently.
Mastery Monday (Mondays 9 AM ET) doubles Sprite XP all day. Schedule Level 5 pushes on Mondays when possible. For container-heavy routes without fighting, see the sprite locations guide.
| Activity | Sprite XP | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Eliminate opponent | +200 XP | S |
| Extract duplicate Sprite | +200 XP | S |
| Down opponent | +100 XP | A |
| Extract new Sprite type | +100 XP | A |
| Open chest / container / ammo box | +75 XP | B |
Equip a Sprite in the primary slot, then loot containers (+75 XP), get eliminations (+200 XP), and extract other Sprites (+100–200 XP). Extract at Level 5 to master.
The safest Fortnite Sprite Mastery path avoids hot drops. Land a low-contest POI when the bus path pulls players elsewhere. Loot every chest, ammo box, and breakable container in the area — each open feeds +75 XP and adds up quickly across a full POI clear.
Some maps include NPC hires who scan nearby containers for gold, revealing chest and ammo density. Use them when available to speed container farming. Pick up any stray Sprites you find — extracting inventory copies at the Site grants +100–200 XP each before you submit your equipped Level 5 target.
If you reach the Extraction Site below Level 5, extract anyway and continue leveling in the next match after re-summoning. Splitting mastery across two safe games beats dying in a hot zone while holding Level 4 on a Legendary.

Sprite mastery rewards part 3 is the third segment of the seasonal Fortnite Sprite Mastery track — the reward page most players open after finishing Part 1's first seven crowns. Part 1 pays Portable Extractors, Sprite Dust, Season XP, and Extraction Frame Back Bling cosmetics. Part 2 and Part 3 extend the same lobby tab with additional tiers as Epic rolls out mid-season milestones.
The third individual milestone inside Part 1 — mastering 3 Sprites — pays 7,500 Sprite Dust. That payout is what many players mean when they search sprite mastery rewards alongside "part 3": it is the first major Dust bundle large enough to re-summon an Epic special variant or buy multiple Portable Extractors from Extraction Site services.
Sprite mastery rewards part 3 tiers beyond the seventh crown unlock later in Chapter 7 Season 3. Expect more Back Bling styles, bonus Extractors, and Dust bundles tied to mastering 8–15+ Sprites. The exact Part 3 prize list updates when Epic patches the track — always verify in the lobby Sprites → Mastery Rewards tab before planning grinds.
| Part 1 milestone | Reward | Tier |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Sprite mastered | Extraction Frame Back Bling | S |
| 2 Sprites mastered | 4 Portable Extractors | S |
| 3 Sprites mastered | 7,500 Sprite Dust | A |
| 4 Sprites mastered | 40,000 Season XP | A |
| 5 Sprites mastered | 7,500 Sprite Dust | A |
| 6 Sprites mastered | 4 Portable Extractors | S |
| 7 Sprites mastered | Extraction Frame (Stealth) Back Bling | S |
The third reward track segment in the lobby Mastery tab — it continues after Part 1’s seven crowns with more tiers as the season progresses. The third individual milestone pays 7,500 Sprite Dust.
Master Sprites by extracting them at Level 5. Each crown advances the track. Part 3 pages unlock after earlier track sections are claimed in the lobby.
7,500 Sprite Dust — enough for two Rare special re-summons or one Portable Extractor purchase with Dust to spare.
Each Mastered Sprite advances the seasonal Fortnite Sprite Mastery reward track. Part 1 covers the first seven mastered Sprites — mixing practical items (Portable Extractors, Sprite Dust) with cosmetics. Part 2 and Part 3 pages in the same lobby tab add tiers as the season continues; see the Sprite mastery rewards Part 3 section above for the extended track.
Portable Extractors from mastery tiers 2 and 6 (four each) are the most valuable Part 1 rewards for collectors — they let you bank equipped Sprites without a loud Site extraction. 40,000 Season XP at tier 4 helps Battle Pass pacing alongside Sprite grinding.
Battle Pass owners who master Sprites unlock those forms as Sprite Pod Back Bling styles — separate from the Extraction Frame rewards but visible in every future match. Pair mastery with the extraction guide so every Level 5 push ends in a banked crown.
| Mastery milestone | Reward | Tier |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Sprite mastered | Extraction Frame Back Bling | S |
| 2 Sprites mastered | 4 Portable Extractors | S |
| 3 Sprites mastered | 7,500 Sprite Dust | A |
| 4 Sprites mastered | 40,000 Season XP | A |
| 5 Sprites mastered | 7,500 Sprite Dust | A |
| 6 Sprites mastered | 4 Portable Extractors | S |
| 7 Sprites mastered | Extraction Frame (Stealth) Back Bling | S |
Four at 2 mastered Sprites and four more at 6 mastered Sprites — eight total from part one of the track.
After Part 1's seventh crown, Fortnite Sprite Mastery opens Part 2 and eventually sprite mastery rewards part 3 pages in the lobby. Epic staggers these extensions across Chapter 7 Season 3 patches — new tiers can appear weekly during Sprite events or Holofoil rollouts.
Extended tracks continue the same currency mix: Sprite Dust, Portable Extractors, XP, and Back Bling variants. Completing Part 3 tiers assumes you are mastering eight or more unique Sprites — usually Rare and Epic Normals first because Dust re-summons stay affordable.
Use Dust from Part 1's third milestone to buy emergency Extractors at Extraction Sites (2,000 Dust each) while saving Part 2/3 claims for cosmetics you cannot purchase elsewhere. Track which crowns you still need on the home checklist Mastery filter.
| Track segment | Typical unlock | Notes | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 Sprites mastered | Extended track reward tier 8 | Unlocks after Part 1 complete | A |
| 9 Sprites mastered | Extended track reward tier 9 | Seasonal progression | A |
| 10 Sprites mastered | Extended track reward tier 10 | Cosmetic + utility mix | S |
| 11+ Sprites mastered | Part 3 continuation | Epic adds tiers weekly | S |
After a Fortnite Sprite enters your collection, dying with it equipped resets it to Level 1 until you re-summon it in the lobby with Sprite Dust. Special variants (Gold, Gummy, Galaxy) cost more than Normal forms. Plan Dust reserves before equipping Mythics in hot lobbies.
Gummy variants grant +10% Sprite Dust on every extraction — fund re-summons faster by prioritizing Gummy farms when Dust is tight. Gold variants add bonus XP from eliminations, speeding the next Level 5 push after a re-summon.
Full Fortnite Sprite extraction and service pricing live in the extraction guide. Variant drop odds for funding duplicate extractions are in the drop rates guide.
| Rarity | Normal summon | Special variant summon | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rare | 100 Dust | 4,000 Dust | B |
| Epic | 3,000 Dust | 6,000 Dust | A |
| Legendary | 5,000 Dust | 10,000 Dust | S |
| Mythic | 7,500 Dust | 15,000 Dust | S+ |
Mastery Monday doubles all Fortnite Sprite XP earned on Mondays from 9 AM ET onward. Stack container routes, elimination XP, and duplicate extracts on Mondays to push multiple Sprites from Level 3 to Level 5 in one session.
Prioritize Rare Sprites first — cheap re-summons (100 Dust Normal) and high drop rates make them ideal mastery practice. Move to Epic and Legendary once the reward track Portable Extractors arrive at 2 mastered Sprites. Save Mythic mastery attempts until you have Extractors banked.
The full Fortnite Sprites roster and abilities live on the Fortnite Sprites wiki. Beginners should complete the beginner guide before committing to a full-season mastery completion goal.
| Phase | Target | Why | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Early season | Master 2 Rare Sprites | Unlock first 4 Portable Extractors | S |
| Mid season | Master Epic roster | Balanced power + reasonable Dust cost | A |
| Late season | Chase Mythic crowns | Use Extractors on every Level 5 push | S+ |
| Every Monday | XP doubling window | Mastery Monday 9 AM ET | S |
Mastered status never disappears from your gallery crown — but in-match power always resets when you die with a Sprite equipped. You re-summon at Level 1 and climb back to Level 5 for the passive strength, not for the crown itself.
Losing a Level 5 Mythic without extracting mid-match is catastrophic: another player loots it, and you pay 7,500–15,000 Dust to get it back. Always carry Portable Extractors earned from Fortnite Sprite Mastery rewards before risky fights with leveled Mythics.
Update the home checklist after each mastery — filter by missing crowns to plan the next target. Victory Royale at Level 5 also counts as mastery if you have not extracted earlier in the match.
No. Mastery is collection progress and seasonal rewards. Each new match starts your re-summoned Sprite at Level 1 until you level it again.
Safe container routes for +75 XP per open, duplicate extracts for +200 XP, Mastery Monday doubling, then extract at Level 5 at a quiet Extraction Site.
